Workington library
A QUESTIONS and answers session from Cumbria Fire and Rescue is set for Workington Library.
The event is a chance for budding fire fighters to learn about the role and will take place on Monday March 2 between 2pm and 3pm.
Workington's Blue Watch will tell attendees about the skills needed, the training that fire and rescue personnel go through and the experience needed.
The audience will also learn about the different roles within the fire service.
Cumbria County Council are behind the event and they are calling it an opportunity for the public to learn about free services on offer such as Safe and Well home visits.
The question and answers session takes place prior to National Carers Week from March 4 until March 9.
