A MAN in his 20s was left with nasty head wound after he was assaulted during a fracas in a popular Carlisle bar.
The incident took place during the early evening on Friday, February 14 at The Griffin pub on Botchergate in the city centre.
Police say that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Police said: "A man in his 20s was left with a large cut to his head and we are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the Griffin pub
"A 28 –year-old man from Carlisle was arrested in relation to the incident."
She added that the incident took place about 6pm.
