A YOUNG man from Wigton was left with facial injuries after a night in a popular Carlisle pub turned nasty.
Police have put out an appeal a man with "slick-back" hair and an orange polo shirt after the 18-year-old was assaulted at 2.45am on Sunday, February 2.
The incident happened at Walkabout, at English Gate Plaza, in Bothergate.
A Cumbria Police spokeswoman said: "The victim, an 18 year old was assaulted by being punched in the face, which resulted in facial injuries.
"The offender has been described as a white man, around 23-years-old, 5ft 11ins tall with slick-back, black hair and wearing an orange polo shirt and jeans."
