HOW THEY MET: Jordyn and Michael met at the start of a Caribbean and America cruise while working on a cruise ship.

PROPOSAL: Michael proposed in 2018 as they walked in the Langdale Pikes near Blea Tarn.

VENUE: St Mary the Virgin Church, High Hesket, near Carlisle.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: The bride wore an elegant Stella York dress from Songbird Bridal Boutique in Keswick. Her great-grandmother’s pearls were attached to her bouquet and she wore an antique pin inside her dress for her something new, old, borrowed, blue.

HAIR & BEAUTY: Make-up was done by Jessica Cant, Carlisle, and Emma Kelly styled Jordyn’s hair.

GROOMSMEN: Matt Galway and Geoff Burton were best men and groomsmen were Patrick and Jude, the groom’s brothers, and Jordyn’s brother Arran was usher. Aaron and Miles Lynch were page boys.

BRIDESMAIDS: Kim Ruddick, bride’s best friend, was matron of honour and Ashleigh and Olivia Johnston, the bride’s sisters, were bridesmaids. The bride’s youngest sister Summer was flower girl. Mini flowers girls were Erin Hood, Maia Hood and Fiena Lynch.

CAKE: The cake was supplied by the Pink Petal Cake Company.

FLOWERS: Rosebery Floral Design, Dalston, supplied the flowers. The bride’s bouquet included ivory roses, eucalyptus, gypsophila, daisies and wax flower. The bridesmaids’ bouquets included pink roses and gypsophila.

TRANSPORT: The bride travelled to the church in an ivory Beauford wedding car supplied by Silver Lady Wedding Car Hire.

RECEPTION: The reception was held at Blaithwaite House, Wigton. Liz’s Country Kitchen of Bromfield provided an afternoon tea and pizzas were supplied for the evening guests.

ENTERTAINMENT: Folk band Hyde Family Jam.

HONEYMOON: Kenya and Zanzibar.

FAMILY DETAILS: The bride is the daughter of Ewan and Louise Johnston, Wetheral, and the groom is the son of Theresa Lynch.

OTHER DETAILS: Leony Pollard read a poem Love is a Gift at the ceremony and the groom’s nephew Daniel gave a reading. The bride’s sister Ashleigh Johnston sang Can’t Help Falling in Love with You while the couple signed the register.
