Electricity pylons
HUNDREDS of properties in the Wigton area are without power, says Electricity North West.
A total of 572 properties are affected.
A spokeswoman for the firm said engineers were this morning on their way to the area to fix the problem.
Meanwhile, the firm has also reported that more than 1,400 customers are being affected by what the firm says is a "fault" in the CA5 postcode area west of Carlisle.
Engineers are also working to fix that problem, says the firm.
