A man was left with injuries after a hit and run in Penrith.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a motorist failed to stop after a collision.
It happened about 7.30pm last night outside the Esso garage on Bridge Lane.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said: "The incident involved a motorist and a pedestrian who was left with minor injuries.
"The car is believed to be a silver or grey coloured Vauxhall Adam."
