A Cleator Moor man has been banned from driving for more than four years after a series of offences.
Ian Francis Breckenridge, 35, of Ennerdale Road, has been handed a 52-month ban by Workington magistrates.
The court heard that on November 2, Breckenridge was asked for a breath specimen when suspected of having driven a vehicle, but failed to do so without reasonable excuse.
On the same date he was also stopped while driving a Mini Cooper on Inglenook Caravan Park, Lamplugh, for driving while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence. He was also charged for driving without insurance.
Breckenridge pleaded guilty to all charges.
If he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course he could see his ban reduced by 52 weeks.
He has also been given a four-month curfew and told to pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
