Person hit by vehicle as suspected thieves made a get away
A man was injured after being hit by a car carrying suspected thieves.
The crash happened at 5.45pm yesterday, outside B&M on Bridge Lane, Penrith.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "We're investigating a shoplifting incident which happened in B&M on Bridge Lane, Penrith.
"The suspects left the scene in a vehicle and in the process hit a member of the public."
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward or call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
