Last week’s sacking of Steven Pressley has triggered the inevitable speculation regarding his successor.
All sorts of names are being touted but who in reality will apply? We all know who will make that decision and their track record about getting the right man.
To all prospective candidates may I offer the following. Whatever job description and person specification the club send you, first read Jon Colman’s perceptive piece in Thursday night’s News & Star, a well written piece that reflects the reality of the task the successful candidate will be taking on. Then ask yourself, are you that particular miracle worker?
