A CARLISLE man has admitted drink-driving.
Adrian Diaconu, 49, from Fusehill Street, off London Road, was caught by police on Cecil Street on October 27. He had 97mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg.
Diaconu appeared at the city’s magistrates’ court and was given a 21-day evening curfew, and must remain in his home between 6pm and 6am. He must also pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
