A new signposting service to support people with a range of issues is looking for volunteers.
Marra Time, which is held at Moorclose library, is appealing for people to come help deliver the service.
It offers advice and support on health and wellbeing, benefits, housing, employment, family concerns, bereavement and self-confidence.
It runs on Mondays from 9.30am to 11.30am and Fridays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Booking is not required for anyone wanting to attend the sessions and there is free use of internet and telephone access.
Free refreshments are also provided.
Anyone wanting to volunteer can contact Sheryl McKeating via email at Sheryl.McKeating@cumbria.gov.uk or by ringing 07825 340615.
