A PENRITH man accused of repeatedly exposing himself is to stand trial in the new year.
When he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on Monday, 41-year-old Odin Viking pleaded not guilty to five charges - all alleging "exposure".
It is alleged that Viking exposed himself "intending that someone would see" and "be caused alarm or distress".
Four of the alleged offences are said to have occurred on one day during a period between June 7 and July 1 this year.
A trial of about three days is due to start in front of a jury at the crown court on January 27.
Viking, of Carleton Place, Penrith, was granted unconditional bail.
Judge Nicholas Barker reminded him that he should speak to his legal team in the meantime and assist with the preparation of a statement which sets out his defence to the allegations he denies.
