Cumbria County Council is hosting a cake sale today - at which flood plans will also be shared.
The sale is taking place on Spring Field in Keswick.
All the proceeds made are going to be donated to Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the county council’s £2m project designed to help prevent flooding in Keswick.
The scheme will help protect up to 118 properties in the area which are currently at risk of flooding. A new flood storage attenuation pond and pumping station will be built in the area, and will address flooding issues between the Penrith Road and Ambleside Road areas in Keswick.
