A series of thefts hits industrial area of town
Police are investigating a series of thefts that have struck an industrial area of Workington over the past few months.
There has been numerous incidents in the Clay Flatts area, with the latest happening on October 14 between 4.30pm and 4am the next morning.
A police spokesman said the thefts have been occurring over a number of months.
Entry has been gained to compounds by causing damage to metal security fencing and removing trailer ramps and trailer side panels from IFOR Williams Trailers.
