HOW THEY MET: The couple met at a fancy dress party in 2016. Will’s best friend is married to Maeghan’s brother and she introduced them.

PROPOSAL: Will proposed in Galway, Ireland, in front of the colourful houses of Quay Street and across from the fishing village of Claddagh. It was the perfect engagement as Meaghan’s family lived in Ireland, so it holds lots of memories.

VENUE: The Woodman Inn, Thunderbridge, West Yorkshire.

THEME: Provence so everything was lavender.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Pronovias dress and veil supplied by Dotty Bridal, Holmfirth, worn with a tiara by Jon Richard.

HAIR & BEAUTY: Make-up by Victoria Marley and hair by Grace Wilson for the bride, her mum and the bridesmaid.

GROOMSMEN: John Kerr was best man and Elliot Telford, Jack Robson, Ethan Robson and Max Mortimer were ushers. The groom’s cousins Lucas and Enzo were page boys.

BRIDESMAIDS: Lily Mortimer was maid of honour. Abby Symonds and Katie Cummins were bridesmaids and the groom’s cousins Ruby Penkeyman and Lola were flower girls.

FLOWERS: By Stems Design.

TRANSPORT: The bride travelled to the ceremony in a BMW 330GT and the couple travelled in an Aston Martin DB11 after the wedding.

RECEPTION: A wedding breakfast for 60 guests was followed by an evening reception attended by 114 guests.

FAVOURS: Fentiman’s rose lemonade and Bloom gin for the ladies with Penderyn whiskey for the men.

CAKE: A tiered cake from Booootiful Cakes.

FIRST DANCE: The Little Things, Keywest, an Irish band which the couple saw in Galway the day they got engaged.

HONEYMOON: Kos.
