Firefighter tackle two car fires in one night
Firefighters were called to action overnight after two cars were ablaze.
Crews from Carlisle east station and west rushed to the fist car fire on the M6 last night.
The report came about 10pm and both crews tackled the blaze between junction 41 and 42.
Another car fire was called in just after 2am at Park Road, Morton.
The car was badly damaged and the incident is under investigation.
Crews were at both incidents for about 30 minutes.
