CRASH: A road has been shut eastbound in Carlisle
A CRASH involving a wagon and a car temporarily closed a road near Kingstown.
A lane was shut earlier this evening (October 8) on the A689 eastbound between the Asda Roundabout at Kingstown and M6 J44 Roundabout at Greymoor Hill following the crash.
No further details about the incident have been released.
Cumbria Road Watch said traffic was very slow in the area.
Drivers were urged to take an alternative route, and allow extra time for their journey.
