Seaton Junior School year six pupils have been learning the rules of the road as part of their curriculum.
The pupils took part in a Cyclewise bikeability course with instructors this week.
Headteacher Amanda Dickinson said: "Bikeability is an important part of our curriculum and safety education. It is about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle on today’s roads. Bikeability gives everyone the skills and confidence for all kinds of cycling and the exercise is so good for mental health.
"The children really enjoy it and we want them to stay safe outside school time."
