HOW THEY MET: In March 2012 on a night out in Cockermouth.

PROPOSAL: Lee proposed on Emily’s 30th birthday in Edinburgh. They went out for dinner at the Dome and he proposed under the Christmas tree.

STAG & HEN CELEBRATIONS: The stags went to York and the hens had a night out and a spa day in Liverpool.

VENUE: Abbey House Hotel, Barrow in Furness.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Mon Cheri Enchanted dress from Te Amo, Workington.

GROOMSMEN: Ben Patton, groom’s best friend, was best man and Stephen Tyson was usher. Oliver Tyson and Sammy Crowley were pageboys.

BRIDESMAIDS: Kirsty Armstrong, groom’s sister, was maid of honour and wore a pale pink Lipsy dress from Next. Ava Patton was flower girl.

JEWELLERY: A thin diamond band for the bride and a brushed steel ring for the groom. both from Ernest Jones.

FLOWERS: Efflorescence, Barrow in Furness.

RECEPTION: An afternoon reception for 61 guests was held at the Abbey House Hotel with another 10 guests attending the evening reception.

TABLE SETTINGS: Ivory blossom trees and floating candles.

FAVOURS: ‘Wedding Day’ scented candles for the women and scratch cards for the men.

CAKE: A three-tier cake of strawberries and cream, chocolate and hazelnut, and salted caramel by Abbie at Cockermouth.

FIRST DANCE: Bed of Roses by Jon Bon Jovi.

ENTERTAINMENT: DJ and Starlight Dancefloor supplied by the Abbey House Hotel.

HONEYMOON: The Deep South of the United States, and the Dominican Republic.
