An open air version of Jane Austen’s classic story of scandals, scoundrels and severely sprained ankles comes to Cumbria next week.

A funny, fast-paced and faithful new adaptation of Sense and Sensibility will be performed by the Pantaloons Theatre Company at Talkin Tarn on August 29.

The performance will continue in all weather conditions bar a full-blown tempest, audience members are urged to take something to sit on.
