A MOTORIST was banned after he admitted drink-driving.
Scott James Fowler, 23, of Wilton in Egremont, was banned for 20 months after he was found with 156mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80mg.
The magistrates' court in Workington heard the incident happened on the A5086 in Cockermouth on April 21.
He must pay a £380 fine, £85 costs and £38 victim surcharge.
Fowler's ban could be reduced by 20 weeks if he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course.
