Good luck to all students picking up their results tomorrow!
As ever, it’s best to be prepared, so if you're heading off to pick up your results, here is a checklist of what you might need - before you can start celebrating.
- Your UCAS Track login details. This will be on a letter or email from when you started your application.
- Mobile phone (fully charged). For calls, selfies, anything really.
- Contact details for your university choices.
- Bookmark the web address of Clearing and Adjustment UCAS pages.
- The details of conditional offers and clearing phone numbers for universities of interest.
- Should you not be available on results day, give someone nominated access so they can speak to UCAS on your behalf.
- Your carefully researched clearing list, if you suspect you might need it.
- Personal statement GCSE results.
- Don’t forget a pen and paper as well.
- Parents (optional)
First things to do on the day
- Keep calm.
- Check UCAS Track. You’ll be able to see confirmation (or not) but not your grades. This is live from 8am.
- Collect your grades: Check with your school or college when they open for you to collect your grades as it can vary.
- If you’ve applied for an apprenticeship or job, contact the employer to confirm your results or negotiate your offer if you haven’t got the required grades. They may still accept you.
