Christ Church flower festival at Great Broughton was a great success, raising £1,266 for the church and good causes.
The festival took place over July 12 to 14, with an estimated 350 visitors.
The theme of the festival was 'all you need is love', reflecting the Christian message.
Organiser Pauline Harkness said: "Visitors enjoyed the wonderful work of Workington Flower Club who had interpreted various aspects of love from poems, songs and the bible.
Thanks to everyone that also helped with the cakes, refreshments, raffle tickets and road signs to the festival and to local business sponsors and villagers who made donations in memory of loved ones.
"Raising this much was beyond my wildest dreams."
The floral festival closed with a service of songs of praise, accompanied by local group Travelling Light.
