Emergency services responded to a fire in Carlisle this evening, close to the University of Cumbria Fusehill Street campus.
Police were called just after 7pm with a report that smoke was seen coming from a house on Barrock Street, opposite the university campus near Greystone Road.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police confirmed that "all occupants were safely removed from the house, with no reported injuries.
"The fire was quickly put out by Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service."
