More tasty treats are on the way to Whitehaven thanks to a continental market hitting the town this weekend.
Following the success of a traders' market last week, the mini continental market will be held at St Nicholas' Gardens from tomorrow (June 20) until Sunday.
There will be stalls selling such tasty treats as gateau, German sausage, Spanish churros, French crepes, Italian deli, jerk chicken, pasta good, Thai noodles and South America goods.
Also on offer will be garden furniture, handbags, a pop art gallery, and beach and summer leisure clothes.
Last week's traders' market was laid on by Whitehaven Town Council, and town businessman Gerard Richardson helped to organise it.
The event was hailed a fabulous day and Mr Richardson said all stallholders were keen to return.
