Two boys have been ordered to leave Cumbria while police investigate a sex attack on a girl in Appleby.
The teenagers- aged 14 and 15 and who are from outside the county - were arrested on Thursday night in connection with the investigation.
They have since been bailed with strict conditions.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said: "The conditions of their bail include that they leave Cumbria and reside outside of the county.
"The pair have been bailed while officers continue to progress the investigation."
Detectives continue to ask that anyone who has information about this incident but has yet to come forward does so immediately.
Officers can be contacted on 101.
No-one has been charged.
