Using behaviour intended to make her victim fear violence would be used against her has landed a woman with an overnight curfew
Linda Liddell appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk at Workington's West Cumbria Magistrates' Court to face a charge under the Public Order Act 1986.
The court heard that, at Parton on April 21, Liddell used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another person, intending to make her victim believe she would be violent, or to provoke her victim to use violence.
Liddell, 48, of Seven Acres, Parton, pleaded guilty to the offence.
She was given a five-week curfew from 8pm to 6am and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 surcharge.
In a separate case, Liddell admitted being drunk and disorderly at Workington's Wetherspoon's pub on April 3.
She was fined £45 for that offence.
