A man was clocked driving on the M6 at Shap at up to 106mph.
Raymond Lawson, of Derwent Rise, Cockermouth, was caught in a Land Rover on Boxing Day driving southbound.
He was clocked for 13 miles travelling between 95mph and 106mph, according to court papers.
Six points were added to his licence and he was fined £153.
