A Frizington man has been tagged for eight months for a string of offences.
Craig David Dunn, 37, of Coronation Drive, pleaded guilty to three different charges when he appeared at the magistrates court in Workington on Friday.
Magistrates were told at Cogra Moss he had a car registration plate modified to look like a different registration number to use in connection with theft. He stole items including chains, shackles, and a bag full of large nuts and bolts, belonging to Coffey Ltd.
The court heard that Dunn had also driven without an MOT on Kilbride Place.
All the offences took place on September 7.
As well as the curfew Dunn was ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
