High winds have led to Northern Rail running one of its Cumbrian services at a reduced speed.
The Settle to Carlisle service will be running at a reduced speed this afternoon as a safety precaution due to the current high wind speeds.
"Train services running through these stations may be delayed or revised" said Northern Rail in a statement released shortly after 3pm today.
Disruption on the Settle to Carlisle line is expected until 6pm tonight.
