FINAL tributes will be paid today to Cumbria's most-decorated war veteran.
Major Jos Mark ensured the sacrifices of the fallen were never forgotten and Cumbria will not forget his devotion to keeping alive the memories of the soldiers who never came home.
His funeral will take place today at St Cuthbert’s Church, Carlisle, at 1pm.
Royal British Legion members and forces' veterans will form a guard of honour to the church door. The service will be followed by interment at Stanwix Cemetery.
