Two men have been arrested following a police chase in Cumbria.
Officers were called at 1.15am this morning to the Tebay area in response to reports of a suspicious vehicle.
The two men, from Wales, were in a Ford Transit van at a farm in the Newlands Valley area. They were disturbed and made off, said a police spokesperson.
They were then arrested after a short pursuit.
A 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for the theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance and failing to stop.
The second man, a 21-year-old, was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for the theft of a motor vehicle.
Both men remain in custody.
