House building
PLANS have been submitted for a new housing development in the Brampton area.
Developers are seeking permission from the local authority to build new houses in Fenton, near How Mill.
The plans, submitted to Carlisle City Council for approval, request permission to build eight houses on land at Fenton Farm.
Outline planning permission had been granted for the development in February 2016.
The eight properties will include two affordable houses, which will both be three bedroom semi-detached properties with gardens.
Each new property will have room for three off-road parking spaces.
