Police say they are "extremely concerned" about a missing 16-year-old from west Cumbria.
They have launched an urgent appeal for help tracing Rachel Etherington, from Workington.
The teenager has not been seen since Monday lunchtime, when she left Cockermouth School on Castlegate Drive.
She is described as being around 5ft 5in tall, of medium build with dyed black hair in a short bob.
She may be wearing glasses.
Rachel is believed to be wearing a dark coat and a red tartan skirt with black tights.
She may be carrying two or three bags with her.
If anyone has seen Rachel they are asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101.
Police also ask Rachel to contact police directly to let them know she is safe and well.
