POLICE are urgently appealing for information about a missing 16-year-old girl from Workington.
Officers says they are "extremely concerned" for the whereabouts of Rachel Etherington, who was last seen at about 12.30pm yesterday when she left Cockermouth School in Castlegate Drive.
She is described as being about 5ft 5” tall, of medium build with dyed black hair in a short bob. She may be wearing glasses.
Rachel is believed to be wearing a dark coat and a red tartan skirt with black tights, she may be carrying two or three bags with her.
If anyone has seen Rachel they are asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101. Police also ask Rachel, if she sees this appeal, to contact them directly to let them know she is safe and well.
