The funeral of a Whitehaven woman who died on the M6 earlier this month will take place next week.
Rachel Warwick, 50, was pronounced dead following a single-vehicle collision on the M6 southbound near Kendal around 5am on Sunday, January 13.
The funeral of the much-loved mother, wife, daughter and sister will take place at Distington Hall Crematorium on Tuesday, January 29 at 2.15pm.
Following her death, Mrs Warwick's family said she would be missed by everyone who knew her.
An inquest into Mrs Warwick's death is due to be opened and adjourned on Friday, February 8 by Kally Cheema, senior coroner for Cumbria.
The inquest, which is expected to resume in June, will consider the circumstances of the collision in which Mrs Warwick's Nissan Almera came to leave the carriageway and hit a tree.
