A MAN was taken to hospital with back and leg injuries after he fell from the guttering of a house in Carlisle.
Emergency services were called to Eden Park Crescent, Botcherby, on Saturday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service confirmed that he was take to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
She said: "We got called at 2.20pm and we attended with an air ambulance, a normal ambulance and a rapid response vehicle."
Firefighters from Carlisle East and Carlisle West fire stations were at the scene for about an hour.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival crews found one casualty had fallen from the guttering of a two storey property.
"Firefighters assisted ambulance crews with casualty care, before being transported to hospital."
