A 73-year-old man who booked into a massage salon shocked the masseuse by offering money for more than that which was on offer.
It rather shocked and alarmed the young lady giving the treatment - and landed Denis Westmorland on the sex offenders register.
For the matter was reported to the police for the “inappropriate behaviour.”
And Westmorland, of Broadfield, Southwaite, Carlisle, appeared in the dock at Dumfries Sheriff Court and admitted causing distress and alarm at the Serenity Beauty Salon in Dumfries in November by directing a sexual verbal communication at the woman without her consent.
The court was told that Westmorland, who had no previous convictions of any type, had told police that he accepted that his behaviour was inappropriate.
He was made the subject of a community payback order with a condition that he be under supervision for 12 months and was also place on the sex offenders register for 12 months.
