Stealing clothes and cosmetics landed a Frizington woman before magistrates.
Anne Marie Horricks, 52, of Main Street, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington to face two charges of shoplifting.
The court was told that on November 17 last year Horricks stole two Impulse gift sets, which were worth a total of £11.98, from Home Bargains in Whitehaven.
Three days later, on November 20, she took clothing worth £62 from the town's Peacocks store.
Horricks admitted both theft charges.
She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
