A man who died following a crash on the M6 in Cumbria has been named by police.
Ben Oakley, 34, from Shropshire, was driving a red Renault Megane which was in collision with a HGV.
The driver of the second vehicle - a man in his 40s, also from outside Cumbria - was uninjured.
The fatal crash happened at 11.15am on Monday on the M6 northbound carriageway at Kendal.
The collision involved the Renault and a blue Scania Artic HGV.
Both were travelling northbound, just before junction 37, when it happened.
The road was closed for some time as a result of the crash.
Specially trained officers are supporting Mr Oakley's family.
Any witnesses are asked to contact the Cumbria Police Mobile Support Group on 101.
