POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash on a Carlisle street.
Officers were called to a two-vehicle crash at the junction of Fusehill Street and South Street, Carlisle, at about 9.50pm on Saturday night.
The incident involved a Fiat Panda and Vauxhall Vectra.
A female driver of the Fiat escaped without injury after the male driver of the Vauxhall failed to stop.
A spokeswoman from Cumbria Police told the News & Star: "The passengers in the Vauxhall were a woman and a boy.
"Enquiries have led to the woman in the Vauxhall car being identified.
"The woman suffered minor injuries, and there were no injuries to the others."
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information about the male driver of the Vauxhall, is urged to contact police on 101, quoting log number 273 of December 8.
