A BRAMPTON business held a special open day last weekend to celebrate its first anniversary.

Harmony Health is a holistic therapy centre offering a range of alternative treatments, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, massage and beauty therapies. The centre also offers cupping therapy and hypnobirthing.

The business, on Gelt Road in the town, offered a range of taster sessions at its open day held last Saturday.

Posted on Harmony Health’s Facebook page, owner Karen Booth summed her feelings at reaching the milestone.

“It’s been a phenomenal first year for us all, here at Harmony Health. For me personally, setting up the clinic has been an amazing journey,” she wrote.

“I could not have done it without the continued support of our wonderful clients. Thank you all so much.”

The anniversary is positive news for Brampton retail after a mixed year.

Brampton’s branch of Barclays bank closed in May, and greengrocers Fruits and Roots shut suddenly in the summer.

However the town welcomed a brand new gym, The Fitness Studio, at the end of August.

And just a fortnight ago, the town saw the return of a greengrocers to Brampton, with the opening of Paterson’s Fruit and Veg.
