Google Maps. A66 at Cockermouth
The A66 was blocked in both directions at Cockermouth following a crash.
The road was blocked between the Fitz roundabout, for Papcastle, and Lamplugh road roundabout.
Officers were reporting heavy traffic in the surrounding area, however the road has now been cleared.
There were no injuries from the crash, said the force.
