The motorway north of Carlisle is now clear following a crash.
The collision, which involved a van, happened on the A74 northbound between junction 19 at Ecclefechan and junction 18 at Lockerbie.
It was reported at about 7.10am.
Traffic Scotland tweeted to say the road was clear at 8.10am.
It is unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the crash.
