Police are investigating a "suspicious" fire at a hotel.
The blaze broke out at the Central Hotel in Annan about 5pm on Sunday.
Police Scotland are now working with the local fire service to investigate the cause of the incident and are appealing for people to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are treating it as suspicious and a joint fire investigation will be carried out.
"We want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of the hotel on Sunday afternoon, particularly if they saw anyone hanging about the building.
"Likewise on Saturday afternoon, when a window was smashed in the old hotel, from the inside out. This was around 3.15pm."
People can call the police on the 101 number and should quote the reference number 3008 18/11.
