A man who died following a crash in Cumbria has been named.
Alan Johnston, 30, of Millom, was driving one of the two cars involved in the collision.
The crash, between two BMWs, happened late on Saturday night on the A5093 at The Hill, Millom.
A total of eight people were injured in the crash, at 11.35pm.
Two other casualties were airlifted to hospital.
Both are described as in a serious but stable condition.
They are both being treated at the Royal Preston Hospital.
Five others were treated at the Furness General Hospital in Barrow.
Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses.
They say the families of all those affected are aware, and are being supported by police officers.
