A DOG that police said was "dangerously out of control" bit a 64-year-old man on the back of his leg in Keswick.
Officers are appealing for information in relation to the incident which happened on Wednesday in Main Street.
They are looking to trace the woman who owns the large black dog, which was wearing a dark coloured harness.
She is described as white, between 60 to 70 years old, about 5ft 6", of average build with graying black shoulder length hair and was wearing dark clothing.
