A cyclist was airlifted to hospital after falling from his bike on the Cumbrian fells.
It happened on Great Dun Fell on Saturday.
The 22-year-old man was knocked unconscious and suffered a head injury.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 1.50pm.
The on-board doctor-led trauma team assessed and treated the patient before flying him to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 15 minutes, where he arrived in a stable condition.
GNAAS worked alongside North West Ambulance Service.
