Woman banned from M&S
A Carlisle woman has been banned from entering a Marks & Spencer’s store.
The ban on Louise Thomson, 45, of Orchard Farm, Moorhouse, Carlisle, was imposed as a condition of bail while sentence was deferred for background reports following her appearance at Dumfries Sheriff Court.
Thomson admitted two charges of stealing a quantity of underwear at the store in High Street, Dumfries, on October 15 and 17.
She also admitted two charges of fraudulently obtaining credit vouchers -- £115 and then £75 – by returning the stolen goods to the store and stating they were no longer requited.
Sheriff Scott Pattison continued the case to December 14.
