The scene of the road traffic collision on the A7 Stanwix Bank in Carlisle
Motorists could be facing delays following a crash on one of the busiest roads in Carlisle.
Traffic was said to be moving slow on Stanwix Bank, near the junction for Brampton Road because of the collision.
It is believed it happened shortly before 7pm tonight.
The crash involved two cars - a silver Peugeot and a red Nissan.
There is no indication at this stage if anyone has been hurt or not but the North West Ambulance Service has attended.
It was cleared around 8pm.
